Dressed for Easter!
We had a very nice Easter. We left early Sunday morning for WI where we spent the day with a few of Jay's siblings. Jay had requested the traditional Easter meal of ham, mashed potatoes with ham gravy (a Lumkes family recipe), and green bean casserole. His sister Kathy did not disappoint, we had a delicious meal. Jay's college-age nieces made Easter baskets for their younger cousins and they also hid Easter eggs around the yard. Jenny (and Andrew) had a great time.
Spring has arrived in the midwest. The leaves are starting to appear on the trees and the tulips are starting to grow. It has been great to be outside again and get out of the house. With the snow melted Jenny has been able to get her bike out of storage and ride around the block. Andrew, Jenny, and I have been able to pull out the jogging stroller and walk around the neighborhood. I think I enjoy it as much or more than they do!
We now turn our attention to the next wedding. We look forward to seeing everyone again and meeting our new nieces and nephew!
